A strong sense of design and craftsmanship
The owners’ brief for interior designers Maven Design Belfast was for every item in the house to be made in Ireland or sourced within Ireland.
The clients desire was for it “to be Irish, to have a strong sense of design and craftsmanship, but not the shamrocks and shillelaghs of old.”
We were delighted to be included in the selection process and supplied a number of bespoke pieces including custom-made brightly coloured steel frame beds for all the rooms, a freestanding clothes rail with custom hangers for the hallway, and a modern freestanding towel rail for the bathroom.
The pieces had a clean, simple, pared back style, with the combination of bright colours and modern materials bringing a very contemporary feel.
