Bringing a modern, polished style to the traditional spindleback bench, this solid oak and ash bench stays true to the natural materials and traditional chair-making techniques.
The seat components are kept simple and unfussy, showcasing the natural beauty of the wood, with softened edges and traditional construction elements such as wedged tenons. The back spindles are hand-turned from solid Irish ash with a uniform and smooth finish, and the legs are shaped by hand giving a more rougher riven or hewn look.
